Nefyn and District Golf Club

One of Ian Woosnam’s favorites; "No hole in the world confronts the golfer with the distractions to be met on the par 5 12th at Nefyn. It has a blind drive, a blind second shot, a crater sized pothole and a public thoroughfare and a public house."

Nefyn Golf Club used to be described as one of Wales' 'best kept secrets', but today the secret is out and visitors from all over the world make the trip to this spectacular piece of coastline known as the Llyn Peninsula to experience not only the challenge of the golf course, but also the breathtaking scenery and tranquility of its secluded location.

Pwllheli Golf Club

Two of golf greatest and most respected golf course architects have made their own distinctive mark on Pwllheli since its inception in 1900. Old Tom Morris originally set out the course, which was at first a nine-hole venture. Around ten years later the great James Braid extended it to 18 holes, so both nines enjoy a wonderful character and have been left largely untouched to this day.

Morris' nine are parkland in nature while Braid's offering is distinctly links. Both incorporate wonderful views of Snowdonia and over to Cardigan Bay to the Cambrian mountain range.

Abersoch Golf Club

Harry Vardon described the original course as 'The finest 9 hole course in Wales'.

Located at Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd, Wales, UK - Clwb Golff Abersoch / Abersoch Golf Club offers 18 holes of links and parkland golf.

Designed by Harry Varden in 1907 and opened in 1908. The sandy soil and the unique microclimate ensures golf for 365 days a year.
